Blinky is designed to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what data Blinky handles and how.
Blinky stores your lens products, plans and schedules; prescription details (if entered); wear sessions and timer history; comfort logs and symptom entries; and app settings — on your device (and, where applicable, your private iCloud-backed app container and paired Apple Watch via Apple's secure device-to-device sync). This data never leaves Apple's ecosystem through Blinky. We have no access to it.
If you choose to save your prescription to Apple Health, Blinky requests write-only access to the prescription data type. Blinky never reads any data from Apple Health. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Blinky schedules local notifications on your device (for example, replacement reminders). They are generated and delivered entirely on-device and are not sent through any server.
Blinky offers a one-time In-App Purchase to unlock the full app. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Blinky receives only the purchase/entitlement status needed to unlock features; Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Blinky is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
